The Opportunity

 

OpenText Global Services intends to have a long-lasting relationship with our key-customers and be their preferred services partner. This should result in a jointly defined project in close cooperation with these key accounts. You will become familiar with the complete business and technical environment in which each of their customers uses our software and then become the point of contact from the customer and stakeholders, in order to ensure the highest level of service, to the customer.

 

 

You are great at:

  • Working as part of a team and independently.
  • Writing clean, testable code.
  • Design new features / applications from the ground up, taking full ownership of the projects you work on.
  • Ensuring code complies with best practices e.g., Accessibility, Responsive Design, Security.
  • Mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior engineers.
  • Conducting Code Reviews
  • Communicating with customers/stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

 

What it takes:

  • Degree qualified in IT related discipline.
  • 6+ years development experience
  • 3+ years hands-on experience with one or more modern JavaScript frameworks e.g., Vue / React / Angular
  • Working knowledge of version control systems such as GIT or SVN
  • Experience with a Nodejs build systems. e.g., Webpack, Vite, Rollup, Gulp/Grunt.
  • C# proficiency
  • Skills using modern CSS pre-processors such as SASS & LESS.

 

Nice to haves:

  • Linux command line experience.
  • Working knowledge of Azure and SQL.
  • Experience with SharePoint / Office 365.
  • Adobe Suite experience, e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro.
  • Familiarity with DevOps workflow/principles, building CI/CD pipelines.
