Your Impact

 

OpenText are looking for an experienced Senior Resource Planning Manager to join their UKI Professional Services Team. Having recently restructured our people management organisation, this role will be responsible for working with the UKI Senior Business Leaders to identify the required resourcing pipeline and for reaching out across the Professional Services people managers, suppliers and agencies to manage its fulfilment.

We are therefore looking for someone that has a demonstrable track record in, skills analysis, work force planning, career development and training analysis, management of cross business management and third party suppliers and/or contract agencies, and someone who can establish the tools and processes needed to deliver on our commitments.

 

What the role offers

 

  • Creation of a Resourcing Function and leading the resourcing team in meeting the needs of the business.
  • Creating detailed resource forecast models and skills analysis from the UKI anticipated pipeline along with commercially viable strategies to meet those needs.
  • Executing on the strategies and plans to resource pipeline through recruitment, sourcing, and up-skilling including managing the relationships with our internal and external resource suppliers and obtaining recruitment approvals where needed to meet the growth of the business.
  • Working with our people managers to understand the career progression plans and aspirations of our UKI people, mapping these to our pipeline opportunities to retain our talent.
  • Regularly reporting on our Delivery Team Health indicators and our targets regarding Equality, Diversion and Inclusion within the UKI based work force. Following up with recommendations for improvement and plans to execute, to Delivery Management.
  • Managing Utilisation Forecasting for the UKI Professional Service Team.

 

What you need to succeed

 

  • You will be a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and drive for results.
  • You will have a commercial understanding and can make sound recommendations on recruitment and sourcing.
  • You have a minimum of 10+ years of experience in resourcing management and/or recruitment with a good understanding of IT Professional Services.
  • You will be able to demonstrate you have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in sourcing technology roles for UK Government.
  • You have a strong understanding of the UK Gov cleared resourcing market.
  • You have a demonstrable track record of resourcing high volume programs of work under tight deadlines.
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the confidence to deliver key messages to a range of stakeholders up to C suite.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of applicable labour laws.
  • You will be able to provide examples of your experience in managing supplier relationships successfully.
  • The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a level of government clearance.
