Join OpenText as a Cloud Specialist and become a key driver of SaaS transformation across North America or Europe. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead cloud migrations, partner with Sales to close major deals, and ensure our customers realize the full value of OpenText’s SaaS offerings. The OpenText Cloud Specialists team is growing to meet the increasing demand for cloud and SaaS solutions. We’re seeking experienced professionals who can navigate complex enterprise environments, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver exceptional results. As a Cloud Specialist, you’ll work closely with customers, Sales, and senior management to align customer needs with our SaaS portfolio, driving significant business outcomes.

 

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

  • Ownership of high-value SaaS deals, from qualification to closure, with a focus on cloud migrations.
  • Direct collaboration with customers to align their needs with OpenText’s SaaS portfolio and deliver clear business value.
  • Strategic analysis and presentation of TCO and ROI models to support customer decision-making.
  • Application of your technical expertise to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of SaaS solutions.
  • Opportunities to provide critical feedback on market trends, sales cycles, and competitive landscapes to influence our SaaS strategy.
  • A highly visible role with the chance to engage with senior management and drive regional SaaS targets.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • 10+ years of experience in Enterprise IT sales or pre-sales with a strong background in SaaS and cloud technologies.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS concepts and enterprise tools, with proven experience applying this knowledge in complex environments.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and closing large-scale SaaS deals, with a focus on revenue growth and improved margins.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to analyze customer infrastructure and design value-driven solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Collaborative mindset and proven ability to work effectively across teams in a matrixed organization.
