Your impact 
As the pace of business change accelerates, it is imperative that companies can create, deliver, and orchestrate time-sensitive and relevant communications to customers, business partners, and other stakeholders in the format they prefer. 
The OpenText’s Digital Experience Platform allows Document Composition, Orchestration, and Omnichannel OnDemand Messaging, providing organizations with the solutions required for that customer and employee journey.
We have an opportunity in Germany for a Senior Account Executive in our DX/ On-Demand Messaging division who can drive sales efforts across DACH and identify and develop revenue opportunities within the OpenText DX customer and prospect base.

 

What the role offers 
Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals by:

  • Generate demand for DX/On-Demand Messaging products, solutions, and services through smart prospecting and lead generation activities and sales campaigns
  • Drive sales of OpenText’s DX/On-Demand Messaging cloud services, software licenses, and services to achieve quota; accountable for meeting or exceeding assigned sales objectives on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Develop and execute business plans, account plans, strategies, and tactics (updated every quarter) to generate revenue from assigned geographical territory and/or account base in the UK and Ireland.
  • Build and manage relationships in medium to large-sized companies, and articulate the value proposition of On-Demand Messaging solutions to C-level and senior executives
  • Execute consultative sales methodology and manage complex sales cycles from lead identification to closure
  • Forecast sales opportunities and use CRM system effectively, and own all aspects of account management and customer relationship in assigned territory/account base
  • Contribute to the achievement of company and team targets and goals.

 

What you need to succeed 

  • At least seven to ten years business development and sales experience in appropriate software or cloud services related industry. 
  • Understanding of business processes, business automation and the challenges organizations face sharing information with customers and business partners. 
  • Successful history of achieving enterprise sales either direct or indirect. 
  • Understanding of strategic selling and consultative selling processes, including demonstrated success participating and succeeding in strategic selling and consultative sales environments.
  • Experience engaging channel partners across various horizontal and vertical markets to achieve agreed targets.
  • Skilled at clearly presenting complex technical concepts to customers through presentations, demonstrations, and proposals. 
  • Self-motivation with demonstrated sales planning skills, sales leadership, time management, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  • Strong oral and written German and English skills. Additional languages are an advantage.
