As a territory focussed Account Executive, you will guide our prospects and customers to become more agile by driving efficiencies in an increasingly Digital World.  

 

You will be self-motivated, inquisitive, a good listener and courageous in your efforts to understand your customer’s business challenges and demonstrate through technology how our solutions solve some of their important business challenges.

 

Your ability to manage a consistently growing pipeline, identifying where best to spend your time and deliver results is at the cornerstone of this role. We expect you to consistently develop opportunities, qualify them quickly and to challenge customers in a positive collaborative manner will drive successful outcomes for your customers.

YOU ARE GREAT AT:

 

 

  • Consultative selling and actively listening to your customers.
  • Identifying and converting opportunities into sales.
  • Skillfully executing each phase of the sales process from pipeline generation to closing the deal.
  • Excellent client presentations and being able to clearly articulate the value our solutions will deliver customers.
  • Being agile, creative and demonstrating proactive and timely habits.
  • Prioritising your time into what matters most in meeting your goals and objectives at OpenText.

 

WHAT IT TAKES:

 

  • You have a track record of at least 3+ years of selling Software Solutions in ANZ.
  • You have experience working on cloud-based, on-premises or hybrid solutions.
  • You have a strong knowledge of the customer buying process.
  • Demonstrate strong sales methodologies and the use of tools to achieve and exceed your targets.
  • Whether it’s the challenge of developing new accounts or finding untapped opportunities in your existing client base, the opportunity to grow our business is what drives your efforts every day.
  • You are intellectually curious, easily grasp new products and solutions, and bring the spirit of innovation to your customers.
  • Completed post-secondary education and a passion for continuous learning.
