The Opportunity:
As a Senior Implementation Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple concurrent global community/supplier projects for GXS/Open Text customers.
As part of the Opentext Solutions Implementation team, you will work with new and upgrade customers, taking them through a project on-board process to a go-live point.
The project implementation process involves full project life-cycle management across requirements definition/governance/SOF creation / development / testing / UAT / go live phases. Customers will be large, typically global, complex, and challenging.
To achieve this, the Implementation Project Manager is required to plan and manage the overall Implementation project, managing all resources and work streams, organising and allocating tasks, providing management reporting both internally and externally to ensure a timely delivery within agreed tolerances.

- Managing internal resources (including forecasting demand)
- Weekly and Monthly progress reporting (written and verbal)
- Client liaison via telephone and email
- Managing scope change
- Ensure partner work to agreed timescales
- Issue Escalation
- Must be fluent in English and French language, optionally other European languages would be an advantage.
What it takes to excel:
- Manages project to the terms and schedule outlined in the Statement of Work and drives project execution to completion.
- Creates and executes project plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and customer requests.
- Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards and best practices.
- Prepares for customer reviews and provides project status reports to customer throughout project duration.
- Formulates and takes corrective actions to mitigate deviations to the project plans and escalates to management when appropriate.
- Serves as primary focal point to customer for project duration.
- Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
- Sets and manages customer expectations.
- Seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships.
- Ensures project related customers’ goals and objectives are met by having a thorough understanding of the customer’s business requirements and expected end-result.
