Your Impact

 

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our CEM Professional Services Practice in EMEA. This role involves leading implementations of OpenText Media Management solutions for EMEA-based customers. It combines strong technical skills with excellent business acumen, making it ideal for a seasoned technical consultant or a software developer looking to transition into a more client-facing role.

 

As a Senior Consultant, you will:

 

- Work directly with clients to translate their business requirements into practical technical solutions.

- Provide trusted guidance and knowledge to clients and internal teams.

- Design, document, and implement agreed solutions.

- Use project management and business judgment to manage risks and ensure client satisfaction.

- Contribute to product improvement by collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, and Support.

- Support the Sales team with technical expertise in pre-sales scenarios.

- Adapt quickly to business direction changes, including POC implementations and estimates.

What You Need to Succeed

 

- Interpersonal Skills: Confidence, communication, and the ability to guide customers from technical personnel to C-level executives.

- Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

 

- Technical Expertise:

  - Extensive experience with Java/J2EE.

  - Proficiency with Java, Javascript, CMS frameworks, Web Servers, and Application Servers.

  - Experience with popular Java Stacks (Spring, Hibernate, XML Parsing) and Web Development Frameworks (Angular, React).

  - Strong understanding of Application Architecture and software development principles.

  - Experience with responsive design, web services, RESTful APIs, performance, and security in an enterprise context.

  - Proficiency with IT infrastructure, networking, and database layers (Oracle/SQL/PostgreSQL).

  - Mastery of Windows, Linux, and UNIX-based operating systems.

  - Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Cloud service providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure).

 

- Qualifications:

  - Bachelor of Science, Engineer’s degree, or equivalent.

  - Fluent in English and French, with excellent written and verbal communication.

  - Experience with Digital Asset Management products.

You will need to travel within EMEA as required and maintain a high level of customer focus and technical proficiency.
