Your impact


As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, testing, and integrating OpenText Service Management automation solutions for customers in the UK’s public sector. Your expertise will ensure that our clients achieve optimal performance and efficiency in their IT operations. By implementing ITSM and automation tools, you'll tailor solutions to meet specific organizational needs, staying at the forefront of industry trends and emerging technologies. Your role involves close collaboration with technical teams, project managers, customer representatives, OpenText support, and R&D to ensure successful adoption and continuous improvement of ITSM practices. Your efforts will bridge the gap between technical and business needs, providing ongoing support and guidance to our clients.

 

What the role offers

 

  • Implementation of ITSM and Automation tools, configuring and customizing solutions to meet specific organizational needs.
  • Working in an international environment and various industries
  • Working in close cooperation with the technical team, the Project/Technical Manager and with customer nominated representatives, OpenText support, R&D as needed
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies including, but not limited to ITSM and incorporate them into the organization's strategy.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure successful adoption of new ITSM practices.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet both technical and business needs.

 

What you need to succeed

 

  • 3-5 years ITSM experience
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • First experience working as an ITSM Solution Consultant or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of ITSM tools and processes
  • Willingness to learn and acquire new skills
  • Basic coding skills (preferably JavaScript) is a plus
  • Communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
  • ITIL certification is a plus
  • Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a high level of Security Clearance
