Sr. Director, Global Accounts

The Opportunity:

The Global Account Management team enables the digital transformation of our most prestigious and global customers and provides solutions across the entire range of enterprise information management capabilities. 

  • Impact the way our customers use information to grow faster and be more efficient in an increasingly Digital World.
  • You will work with C-level leaders in some of the largest companies in the world and coordinate across business units and geographies within OpenText
  • Your role combines three domains of excellence – Sales, Business Consultative Capacity, and Leadership
    • Your KPIs will be determined by how you impact growth on a set of two accounts
    • You will be strategic in planning, coordinating and executing large complex solutions deals
    • You will influence and inspire confidence with the virtual team composed with Account Executive currently working on the accounts

  • Experience of commercial and contractual negotiations with a complex set of customers with international reach
  • Expert knowledge in solution Value selling
  • C-level exposure (with high value fo IT and business lines)
  • Experience of driving, shaping and executing large global deals
  • A track record of at least 10 years of B2B selling to large global customers
  • Cultural empathy
  • Experience of commercial and contractual negotiations with a complex set of customers with international reach
  • Intellectual curiosity, you can easily grasp new products and solutions, and bring the spirit of innovation to your customers
  • In-depth knowledge of your key competitors and up-to-date knowledge of industry trends
  • Completed post-secondary education (Bachelor’s Degree) and a passion for continuous learning
  • Location is ideally for this position you live near your global customer’s head office to enable frequent customer meetings
