THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Sr. Director of Product Marketing is a critical role within OpenText.  This individual will lead GTM for the OpenText AI/Analytics Division, including our Developer and API business.  Reporting to the SVP, Product Marketing, this individual will manage and lead a team of Product Marketers focused on developing value-based messaging for target buying centers to support cross product positioning, solution development messaging, enablement, and programs to drive new customer acquisition and expansion within the target customer base. This is a high visibility and global role as OpenText becomes established as a leader in AI for Information Management. 

 

YOU ARE GREAT AT

The Sr. Director, PMM will lead a team of seasoned Product Marketers to:

  • Define go-to-market strategy for OpenText AI/Analytics to support OpenText’s position as a leading vendor of AI/Analytics solutions for Information Management.
  • Partner with our product and engineering counterparts to help establish the AI strategy for OpenText.
  • Support our organic growth and innovation strategies by partnering with PM to identify new LOB, industry solutions and 3rd party application integrations, with offerings aligned to high growth opportunities within OpenText submarkets.
  • Work cross functionally to design demand generating campaigns and sales play programs with direct sales and partner ecosystem.
  • Act as SME leader to other PM/PMM teams to support their launch of new AI offerings.
  • Develop marketing plans to support AI business objectives on user acquisition, engagement and retention and grow awareness for OpenText as a leading AI vendor.
  • Define and lead product marketing deliverables, including marketing collateral, videos, demos, sales enablement, presentations, webinars, sales tools, blogs and other assets required to support marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Work with Analyst Relations to help establish OpenText as a leader in AI and increase awareness and customer adoption of OpenText AI/Analytics portfolio.

 

WHAT IT TAKES:

  • Experience in enterprise software, preferably with a focus on AI, Analytics, and/or API and marketplace creations.
  • At least 15 years of professional experience with at least 10 years in a Product Marketing function, and 5+ in leading global teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong content marketer
  • Aptitude for technology and the ability to connect technical concepts with customer value
  • Demonstrated success in leading and enabling product marketing, sales and other functions to clearly articulate value and differentiation
  • Skilled in leading presentations and discussions with business, technical, and sales stakeholders
  • Great interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to forge trusting relationships across a diverse team
  • Highly autonomous, understanding how to prioritize and differentiate what matters from the noise, independently driving projects from conception through to completion.
