Sr. Human Resources Business Partner

Reporting to the to Director HR, Corporate Development this is an exciting role that requires strategic oversight of M&A activities as well as experienced project management of HR initiatives.  

This role will partner with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning and employee engagement – with an M&A focus. Within the M&A team, you will be involved in all employee integration related activities from due diligence through to harmonization.  Partnering with business leaders and across HR -including regional HRBP’s, Total Rewards and HRSS you will build effective strategies to integrate and engage employees around the world. 

This role also includes the opportunity to design and execute strategic and transformational HR initiatives. This requires experience and a strong demonstration of project management skills. To be successful in this role, you must be able to understand business priorities, execute HR projects while maintaining a positive employee experience. 

To succeed, you will have a flexible skill set including the ability to think strategically, execute tactically, take initiative, and collaborate across many teams, levels and employee situations. 

•    Strong drive to create a positive work environment
•    Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate cross functionally with many stakeholders
•    Partner and participate in various HR initiatives to drive, support, and develop regional or global project plans 
•    Successfully monitor the “pulse” of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement throughout the project lifecycle or M&A integration 
•    Develop comprehensive plans to support M&A activities including due diligence reports, employee integration plans and supporting change management
•    Lead intricate cross-functional project teams to meet and exceed business objectives from initial conception, organization, scheduling, and implementation and follow up 
•    Engage in key business initiatives involving the design of organizational development strategies to enhance business performance through the facilitation of reorganization efforts, change management strategies and/or cultural alignment activities as needed 


•    10 + years’ directly related work experience in a HR, providing direct support to front-line employees and people leaders 
•    Global HR support experience strongly desired particularly for EMEA and North America
•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Behaviour, or related field preferred
•    Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills.  Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines, ability to prioritize conflicting demands, organize time and resources to deliver consistent results for the business and bring initiatives to successful completion
•    High degree of business acumen; strong fiscal aptitude. 
•    Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with senior business leaders to drive strategic business decisions while balancing the need for tactical execution of HR processes
•    Must be able to operate under minimal supervision with autonomy and judgment for independent actions
•    Must convey a high level of personal integrity and a passion for excellence 
•    Strong leadership capabilities with proven ability to foster an environment of positive employee engagement and trust
•    Strong analytical skills: solid decision-making capabilities coupled with the ability to analyse situations and provide practical recommendations 
•    Ability to work in a high growth, fast-paced environment requiring agility to meet challenges and changes in business needs
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong influencing skills
