Sr. Manager, Professional Services (m/w/d)

Reporting to the Director CCM Professional services, the People Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing a portion of the EMEA team (around 10 direct reports). Ensure timely delivery, within budget and with high quality of service. Should be able to plan, organize, lead, control and continuous improvement required for the efficient and effective operations of the team that will ultimately contribute to the overall success of the CCM practice, the DX practice and the company.

  • Establishes strategic goals; choosing a course of action; defining objectives; evaluating outcomes.
  • Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectation; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, mentoring, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment.Developing personal growth opportunities.
  • Accomplishes resource management by forecasting demand and capacity; analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
  • Maintains quality service by enforcing quality and organization standards; analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems; identifying trends; recommending improvements.
  • Maintains organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by regular monitoring and communication with the management team
  • Conduct regular team meetings to provide business/organization/team updates and directions.
  • Monitor deliverables of the team members and ensure that key items are tracked through to completion.
  • Be available to receive escalations and participate in resolution activities as needed.
  • Monitor throughput of each team member and identify potential roadblocks preventing the individual from meeting the target.
  • Understand demand and supply patterns and proactively assess team level requirements to ensure highest utilization possible.
  • Ensure visibility and awareness on project timeline deliverables of team members.
  • Represents the consulting team in inter-organization collaboration meetings

 

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study; without a degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience (11+ years in total)
  • Has at least 6 years of delivery experience in the IT industry and at least 2 years of management experience (including project and people management)
  • Has managed a team of at least 10 people in a multicultural environment
  • Has the ability to motivate and lead the team to meet challenging goal
  • Has experience in Resource Management, People Management, Performance Management and Mentoring and Coaching
  • Is detail-oriented but at the same time keeps tabs on the big picture
  • Must have very strong interpersonal skills including a demonstrated ability to partner with others, and be able to manage conflicts or complex relationships
  • Can manage a project (PMP certification is a plus)
  • Exposure to SaaS, Cloud, Managed Services

 

Additional knowledge and skills:

  • Proactive mindset, very good professional conduct, attention to detail, consulting experience
  • System integration project experience
  • Customer facing skills
  • Familiar with the document composition ecosystem
  • Ability to adapt a consulting style appropriate to the situation and can identify up-sell opportunities.
  • Demonstrates broad knowledge in other technical areas in order to properly manage complex integration efforts. Demonstrates application of technical expertise in successful engagements involving multiple disciplines.
  • Able to independently complete solution implementation or application design deliverables.
  • Able to manage a team of consultants in the completion of one or more solution requirements, architecture, or implementation deliverable.
  • Language: English and any other European language
