The Opportunity: 

 

The Professional Services Senior Practice Manager is responsible for driving utilization through the management of direct reports, establishing & supporting project delivery leading practices, participating in presales opportunities, and driving revenue through the delivery of customer engagements. This role will focus on OpenText Content products.

Responsibilities: 

•    Manage, coach and mentor a team of direct reports. 
•    Responsible for your team’s utilization results, staffing, scheduling, development planning and performance management.
•    Provide operational thought leadership by establishing and standardizing project delivery practices.
•    Provide technical thought leadership on OpenText Content solutions.
•    Deliver customer engagements with high quality. Projects delivery activities relate to the functionality of OpenText Content products and may involve tasks such as analysis, configuration, and/or development.
•    Provide strategic input to customers and prospects on OpenText Content solutions. 
•    Interact with other OpenText departments, across various regions and time zones, to scope project effort and create project proposals.
•    Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
Experience/Qualifications: 


•    Minimum of 8 years of experience in a technical and people management role. 
•    A solid grasp of a variety of Open Text Content solutions which may include Content Suite, Documentum, Intelligent Capture, Records Management, Workflow, Web Reports, and Email Management. 
•    Ability to confidently interact with both business and technical audiences.  
•    Strong interpersonal skills, technical depth and breadth, solid written communication and presentation skills are required. 
•    Excellent project delivery practices.
•    Experience managing a remote team of diversely skilled consultants.
•    Ability to work as part of a dynamic team. 
•    Self-starter and a quick learner.
•    This position has a billable component, measured by utilization achievement.
•    This is a revenue generating position. 
•    Travel is a requirement of this position.
