Sr. Manager, Program Integrations - M&A

THE ROLE: 

 

The Sr. Manager, Program Integrations - M&A will be managing acquisition due diligence and integrations across multiple functions driving business alignment, cross-functional dependency ownership, and reporting integration/operational progress to management to ensure successful integration of acquired companies. Developing and driving repeatable processes to increase M&A integration effectiveness across the team. Coach and mentor direct reports based on their development and personal career goals. Provide leadership, development, and a forum for communication to ensure coordination and collaboration in meeting organization and individual goals.

 

KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Management/coaching to ensure the team meets organizational and individual goals
  • Partner with functions to manage and facilitate acquisition integrations
  • Driving cross-functional dependency ownership and resolution
  • Reporting integration/operational progress to management
  • Develop and drive repeatable processes to increase M&A integration effectiveness
  • Facilitate decision making across the functions to drive implementation of the operating model, dependency ownership/resolution and risk escalations
  • Coach employees on issues that arise including being a sounding board to help them think through all of the possibilities to evaluate the best solution/approach
  • Work cross-functionally to identify problem and issues before they arise
  • Building relationships at all levels internally and externally is required. For the acquired companies, the interactions are at different levels of the company and entail information gathering while building relationships as well as the power of persuasion and negotiation.
 
EDUCATION/SKILL & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Master of Business Administration or equivalent 
  • 6-10 years of M&A management experience
  • PMP certification preferred
  • M&A integration certification an asset
  • Extensive program management experience leading global multi-functional teams
  • Experience within multiple functions in addition to leading cross-functional teams
