THE OPPORTUNITY:
- Lead the Pricing Process & business case construction for new models, new products, promotions & structures, working with product management to ensure pricing supports product strategy
- Constantly evaluate & refine price points, pricing models & policies
- Devise simplification strategies and build roadmaps to reduce portfolio pricing complexities
- Become the “trusted advisor” to product management team on all aspects of product licensing and pricing and become knowledgeable in both product solutions and market dynamics
- Work directly with operations team to ensure appropriate packaging and setup of new products reflects business intent & simplicity for Sales
- Determine and conduct business analysis to (1) support strategic model/market shifts, (2) model financial impacts of pricing actions, (3) estimate street prices, (4) monitor progress of initiatives, (5) understand buying & selling behaviors (6) model financial impact of pricing actions, (7) derive customer ROI analysis as part of a value-based pricing approach.
- Create instructional/training material to educate stakeholders, ie Sales teams, PM, PMK, etc
- Support Deal Desk on deals, helping with deal configuration and discount requests/assessments as needed.

WHAT IT TAKES:
- Bachelors degree required
- MBA and/or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of Product Mgmt, Product Mktg, Sales, Operations, Finance and/or Pricing processes a plus
- Knowledge of the software or IT industry
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to understand and conduct business analysis & data analysis to support projects and/or problem hypotheses
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to anticipate issues and challenges, and prioritize effectively with little supervision
- Ability to adapt and function effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Required: 3+ years in related role in a Product Mgmt, Product Mktg, Operations, Analytics and/or Pricing capacity
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
