OpenText’s EnCase® is the most widely deployed DFIR (Digital Forensic and Incident Response) platform in the world and has been named “The Best Computer Forensic Solution” by SC Magazine for 10 years running.  EnCase solves forensic security and investigatory needs for law enforcement, government agencies and enterprise customers using comprehensive forensic science, powerful evidence processing, and deep analysis.
The EnCase Engineering team seeks an experienced Build and Release Engineer who is ready to collaborate on the next generation of EnCase capabilities. We are looking for an enthusiastic engineer with experience helping application developers accelerate.

 

You are great at:

 

As a Build and Release Systems Engineer, your mission will be to use cutting edge technology to build and automate a highly efficient, flexible cloud/virtual infrastructure.  In addition, you will have the following responsibilities:

 

Responsibilities:
•    Implement systems that are highly available, scalable on a public cloud platforms and virtual environments
•    Design, manage, and maintain tools to automate operational processes used to deploy a variety of applications 
•    Develop automation to quickly and rapidly deploy new VPCs and server instances 
•    Work closely with developers to implement continuous delivery systems and methodologies on AWS/Azure
•    Define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems on public cloud infrastructure
•    Build tools and processes to support the infrastructure produce user data on multitude of applications

 

What it takes:  

•    Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent. Advanced degree a plus
•    Minimum 5+ years technical experience in a software development environment as an individual contributor in the related area 
•    Object-oriented programming, C, C++ and OS systems programming
•    Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities; broad intellectual capacity to take on complex technical issues 
•    Excellent written and verbal communications skills; ability to provide clear guidance and instruction to others
•    Demonstrated ability to get things done by being resourceful, building rapport, and seizing opportunities
•    High EQ (Emotional Intelligence) which guides how you motivate your team and resolve conflicts
•    Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, including resolving conflicts with competing priorities and tasks

 

Additional Qualifications: 
•    Operating System internals or low-level driver development
•    Web/SaaS experience, Java, JavaScript and working knowledge of network topology
•    Experience with project coordination and management or acting as Scrum Master
•    Project management Use of Atlassian collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence)
