Sr. Technical Consultant - Web Content Management

Technical Consultants implement Web Content Management software and solutions by gathering requirements, designing, and implementing some of the most exciting technologies around today. They work daily with Architects, Consultants and customers to help design and implement our content management solutions.


What you will do:

•    Understand each customer’s development and production requirements
•    Understand, assess, and propose solutions for resolving customer questions and issues 
•    Design and implement solutions for OpenText product suite 
•    Learn and utilize our implementation methodology to support successful, consistent, and high-quality implementations of our solutions 
•    Work in a team environment and be willing to travel to the customer locations to perform work 
•    Help the customer transition to their new solution and provide knowledge transfer and mentoring


What you Bring:

•    Experience in Windows 20xx Server, Unix, Linux.
•    Proficiency in languages and programming skills, such as C#, C++, Java, Perl
•    Proficiency in scripting, such as JavaScript, CGI, JSP, ASP, HTML, DHTML, CSS, XSL, XML, XSLT and Windows scripting, such as VBScript/ActiveX
•    Proficiency in JSON, J2EE, REST and Web Application Servers, such as Apache, Apache Solr, BEA Weblogic, WebSphere 
•    Proficiency in Application Development, such as ASP.net, SOAP/Web Services 
•    Proficiency in Cloud technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
•    Self-motivated and capable of delivering proactive, credible, and responsive service to clients 
•    Must have strong writing, documenting and oral communication skills 
•    Proven ability to implement and deliver software solutions through the entire life cycle 


Preferred Qualifications:

•    TeamSite and LiveSite Knowledge 
•    Search engine familiarity, such as IDOL, Apache Solr
•    Knowledge of Oracle, SQL databases, Active Directory, LDAP, network architecture, firewalls, extranet security, virtual environments, backup and high available structures.
