As a Senior Webinar & Digital Event Specialist at OpenText, you will play a critical role in driving our global webinar strategy and execution. This position, situated within our Field Marketing Event Center of Excellence, requires an understanding of webinar technologies and a proven ability to manage and execute compelling virtual events globally. You will be instrumental in crafting webinar experiences that resonate across different regions, aligning them with OpenText's overarching marketing objectives.


  • Global Strategy and Execution: Implement webinar strategies that cater to global audiences, adapting to different regions.
  • Technology Management: Master various webinar and event platforms and oversee integration with marketing tools, adapting to regional needs.
  • Project Management: Handle all aspects of webinar execution, accommodating different time zones and technical requirements.
  • Audience Engagement: Design innovative engagement strategies suitable for diverse global audiences.
  • Data Analytics: Analyze webinar performance metrics globally, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with global vendors and stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with global marketing teams, integrating webinars into broader marketing strategies.
  • Training and Enablement: Develop enablement program to scale webinar production for stakeholders to produce their own webinars, ensuring consistency with OpenText's Brand.
  • Innovation and Trends: Stay abreast of global trends in webinar technologies and methodologies.



  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in global webinar management and execution.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in webinar platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Project Management Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple projects across different regions.
  • Communication Skills: Strong proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus), and excellent communication abilities.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strategic and analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Independence and Collaboration: Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
