The Tax Analyst opportunity is a part of our Global Tax (Corporate Accounting) team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Analyst, Tax will join a highly technical global tax function to create value and take a proactive approach to assisting the Director, Tax by deferring cash or reducing cash taxes, ensuring timely and accurate tax compliance and accounting, and managing and balance tax risks
- Supporting process improvement initiatives and tax transformation projects currently underway.
- Assist with review and implementation of available digitalization tools to expedite tax process transformation
- Assist with income tax compliance and reporting responsibilities
- Assist with specific state income tax planning and compliance
- Exposure to indirect taxes; Sales tax, VAT, GST
- Liaise with Finance Planning, Transfer Pricing, Tax, and Treasury groups to timely prepare forecasted operating income for the preparation income tax provision and operating cash flow.
- Provide support in the preparation of bottoms up annual forecast of tax group external advisory fees, and monthly monitoring of actual vs budget spend.
WHAT IT TAKES TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- University Degree (preference for finance/accounting focus)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office suite
- You are a problem solver and are comfortable building and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships to smooth processes within our tax group.
- You are digitally focused and enjoy finding ways to simplify processes and still achieve optimal results.
- Have highly analytical and critical mindset.
- Have ability or are interested in learning to use technology to address business problems.

This job as a minimum is expected to pay in the range of $27.30 USD per hour, in addition to a comprehensive and competitive group benefit and healthcare plan. Individual compensation will be determined based on skills and experience comparable to the job requirements.
