The Opportunity:

OpenText is seeking a passionate customer focused individual to serve as Vice President, Technology and Analytics, Business Networks Customer Solutions Group. This position will have overall responsibility for leading the technical transformation of the BN Customer Solutions.  This is a visible, key leadership role in OpenText with direct customer and business impact. The goal is to drive change in our underlying technology and tools used to support our customers, while revamping our customer experience and internal tools to deliver that experience.


You are great at:

  • Provide overall guidance and organizational leadership for analytic solutions, internal technology used for delivering mapping solutions, customer relation tools and customized solutions
  • Deliver quality solutions that drive additional revenue and insights for our customers driving actionable insights.
  • Manage and lead high performing organization of over 160 people across North America.
  • Partner with Sales, Product Development and Customer support to create new avenues of support and revenue for implementation and steady state processing on EDI data including developing tools and technology to generate a value-based consultancy service around supply chain management
  • Develop and deliver a detailed roadmap of solutions across the different product lines for professional services tools and solutions.
  • Meet all revenue, expense, profitability, utilization, productivity and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Lead off-shoring strategy for the organization.


What it takes:

  • Strong leadership/managerial experience in engineering and professional services, managed technical projects and services for consulting in the supply chain management space.
  • Knowledge of EDI technologies and experience with “Software as a Service” and/or “Managed Services.” “Platform as a Service” experience a plus, especially with an Integration focus.
  • Strong internal and external customer relationship
  • Strong business acumen and financial skills; must be metrics-driven.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Proven project management discipline – requirements, schedule, and deliverables. Completes projects on time and in budget.
  • Results and execution oriented.
  • Strong executive presence and communications skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional ability to communicate in German or French preferred.
  • Proven experience managing remote resources. Must work well with people/peers across the world (EMEA, Asia, South America).
  • Change oriented, having led organizations through change and transformation; off-shoring experience a strong plus.
  • Strong team player: ability to partner with sales and other cross-functional organizations.
  • Bachelors Degree; MBA or Masters Degree a plus.
