The Opportunity

 

The role of VP, Off Cloud Renewal Operations will report directly to the Executive Vice President Renewals. In this role, you will be responsible for managing an existing team of 15 employees focused on revenue forecasting, reporting, analytics, systems, and process improvements.  The role is directly responsible for assisting the larger Off Cloud Renewals team with a portfolio of more than $1.3B of maintenance contracts. This is done through a strategic consultative partnership with the SVP Off Cloud Renewals, in-depth insights into the business and by providing continuous improvement in systems, processes, and reporting. 
The successful candidate will be great at managing multiple priorities concurrently, a strong people leader and able to communicate with and influence other people within the organization. Delivering results on time, creative thinking, and the ability to provide detailed information in a concise manner during Executive level meetings is also a key part of the role.  


What You Are Great At: 

 

  • Delivering on the Renewals vision and strategy through leadership and execution tactics with your teams
  • Being a strategic consultant to the Off Cloud Renewals leadership team
  • Providing business insights through detailed reporting and analytics on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis in areas such as renewal rates, cancellations, and billings
  • Collaborating with the Off Cloud Renewals leadership team to develop annual revenue budgets, compensation plans and various revenue program targets 
  • Proactively engaging & collaborating with other functions on a regular basis to ensure projects and objectives are completed in a timely manner
  • Building operational solutions that continue to drive progress within the Off Cloud business
  • Mentoring, inspiring, developing and coaching your team members
  • Actively determine projects, processes, reporting and system improvements that add value to the Renewals team
  • Deliver on system changes required by the business in a timely manner through collaboration with IT and your project management team
  • Ensure the integration of acquisitions are complete for the Off Cloud Renewals organization along with the interdependencies of other functions
  • Provide ongoing communication to sponsors, business owners and internal customers regarding project milestones, progress, and completion of activities to ensure smooth implementations

 
What It Takes:  

 

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in any Business, Management, or IT discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Business Operations, Renewals, or Sales Operations, including management of teams
  • Excellent knowledge of software products and organizational structures
  • Experience managing a diverse team
  • Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting, and business operations
  • Experience in leading the creation of Sales or Renewals forecasts
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in dealing with all levels of the business
  • Experience in leading the creation of BI Analytics and dashboards 
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Understand the foundational workings of SFDC, SAP, renewals systems and can learn the functionality of various other internal systems and processes.
  • A strong strategic and business mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership skills and the ability to interact and influence peers
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and have the ability to shift easily between a variety of objectives easily
