Associate Collections Specialist

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Manager of Collections, the Associate Collection Specialist will bring their solid experience in administrative and organization support. He/She has a passion for delivering a best-in-class customer experience and has the drive to learn from others while supporting the Collections strategy. The successful candidate can adapt to an ever-changing growth-oriented environment using leading metrics as an evaluation of performance. 


What You're Great At:

•    Provide Admin support for the collections team
•    Pull Customer Invoices as required
•    Respond to customer Inquiries Via Phone or emails
•    Handle Customer Portal Administration and Uploads
•    Update Supplier Information
•    Handle Customer refund requests
•    Process Credit Card Payments 
•    Handle Physical Mail


What it Takes: 

•    2 - 4 years of experience in an Administrative role, working in a collections department is an asset
•    Solid organization and time management skills, with demonstrated success managing multiple priorities in a fast paced, dynamic environment
•    Strong customer service mindset with the ability to solve it right the first time
•    Proficient computer skills, including Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP
•    Advanced proficiency in managing documents, spreadsheets, and databases
•    Excellent written and verbal communication, including managing calls and directing internal and external emails to designated areas
•    Self- starter with a continuous improvement mindset 
•    Strong team player, understanding that you deliver as a team and it is always best when you collaborate to find solutions to problems. 
•    Customer portal knowledge an asset
