Digital Analytics Specialist

 

The Digital Analytics Specialist will report and work closely with the SEO Manager. The role will involve in-depth analysis of quantitative data derived from website traffic and online visitor behavior. The goal for this position is to strategically identify key patterns, actionable recommendations, insights and intelligence that will add value to OpenTexts' digital visibility initiatives. The analysis will span across key OpenText assets including the corporate website, blogs, product and educational microsites.

 

Requirements and qualifications

  • 5+ years relevant experience
  • University degree in a quantitative or related field (Analytics, Data Marketing)
  • Must have experience with analytics and intelligence tools: Google Analytics 360, Google Data Studio, Google Tag Manager

 

Skills and competencies

  • Ability to clearly interpret data and communicate insights to a variety of audiences
  • Experience with creating dashboards and tailored analytics reports
  • In-depth problem-solving skills that take into account the "why" and "how" behind the data
  • Perform regular QA audits including account setups and scripts to ensure data is being gathered accurately
  • Experience with audience segmentation, attribution modeling and CRO
  • Knowledge of heatmapping and multivariate testing is a plus
