About the Role


The Director for our Cloud Business Unit will have responsibility for ensuring financial success in the fastest-growing segment of the business.  We are seeking an experienced finance leader who is a highly strategic financial business partner and brings strong financial acumen and leadership to ensure collective alignment on the best path forward.  The role oversees portfolio management across the full P&L, including Cloud Operations, Services, R&D, as well as coordination with Sales and marketing organizations.

The ideal candidate should be a self-starter who is comfortable leading in a changing environment despite ambiguity, with an extensive analytical background, problem-solving skills and experience driving results. 


Core Responsibilities


  • Enhance long-term shareholder value of the business unit
  • Partner closely with ELT of Cloud Business, SVP of Cloud Operation, and other executive staff to drive business results
  • Lead the business unit annual budget planning, monthly forecasting and close rhythms, monitor and communicate financial results and estimates to leadership
  • Manage business unit financial model with projections for strategic long term plan
  • Provide hands-on leadership to the team, including Attracting, Developing and Retaining Talent, establishing individual development plan, providing timeline feedback, setting goals, and appraising results
  • Lead financial analytics on Cloud portfolio, with ROI analysis, product life cycle management and optimization.
  • Identifying risks & opportunities and working with business unit leaders to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities


Key Requirements


  • 10+ years of proven strong team leadership experience.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Self-starter, proactive, with the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels within the company.
  • Direct Cloud or Data Center experience highly desired; High Tech Software background preferred.
  • Strong excel, financial and reporting system skills.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics.
  • Collaborative, able to influence across teams, comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
