The Opportunity:
The Cloud Services Delivery team is at the core of delivering and operating our commercial products to our customers at OpenText.  As OpenText continues to aggressively grow and innovate in AI across all business units, we are looking for a strong professional to join our Cloud Services team to define and drive the operations roadmap for Cloud Services delivery. This role will be directly responsible for our SaaS, Infrastructure as a Product, and Private Cloud solutions and architecture role, and will serve as the primary liaison between the OpenText technical team, organization leadership, and 3rd party providers. The ideal candidate will have experience serving as a subject matter expert and consultant on highly complex projects that involve consolidation, migration, and service optimization and require in-depth knowledge across multiple business units.
Reporting to the Sr. Vice President of Cloud Services, you will be a key member of a team responsible for delivering highly reliable services to our customers.

 

You Are Great At:
•    Architect end-to-end OpenText infrastructure and platform-engineered solutions.
•    Develop long-term Cloud Service Delivery strategies and plans in collaboration with leadership and key stakeholders.
•    Develop and communicate technical standards for product development throughout the organization. This standard needs to align with the cross-functional OpenText architecture teams.
•    Define and design customer custom and standard solution architecture and products.
•    Create documentation, including standard operating and disaster recovery procedures, and security and technical support documents.
•    Execute qualification projects for proofs of concept to identify, evaluate, and adopt the most suitable model between OpenText infrastructure and applications.
•    Investigate the development, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and extendable architecture and align roadmaps for commercialization.
•    Analyze and improve existing processes and workflows through Service Management events. 
•    Identify, analyze, and recommend emerging technologies that will make an impact.
•    Collaborate with key OpenText stakeholders to define product requirements in alignment with business goals.
•    Advise management and team members on systems architecture best practices.
•    Provide mentoring, leadership, and technical direction to product development team members.

 

What It Takes:
•    Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
•    8 or more years of proven experience in leading architecture and product management, program management, or operations roles, in a technology-driven organization.
•    Experience leading or managing cross-functional teams with proven success, preferably in a technology role
•    Strong understanding of deployment automation tools, agile methodologies, and IT operations best practices.
•    Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
•    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical complexities into actionable insights.
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, as well as to convey a clear understanding of the needs of different audiences.
•    Ability to take in evidence, integrate information from multiple sources, derive meaning from it, and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
•    Experience seeing and implementing the big picture, serving an ecosystem of different business cases, support teams, and end users.
•    Strong technical knowledge and the ability to work closely with world-class operations partners to devise strategies and solve complex system interdependencies.
•    Certification in Agile, ITIL, or relevant areas is a plus.
•    Self-starter who thrives and can multitask in fast-paced and often ambiguous environments.
