The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Director, Technology Architecture, the Solution Architect will be responsible for helping to design the technology roadmap for corporate systems. This will include determining hardware and software infrastructure and recommending technology that improves current systems and performance. The Solution Architect will be an expert on latest technologies, to effectively guide the technical direction of projects

What It Takes:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • 10+ years of experience working within a global Information Technology environment focused on corporate systems.
  • Preferred certifications – Google Cloud Architect, Microsoft Certified Architect (MCA), Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA), VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Expert knowledge of Virtualization; Application Virtualization; Cloud Computing models (SaaS/IaaS/PaaS), design, authentication, architecture, and costing      
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills, including leading and coordinating multiple projects, influencing non-direct reports and peers, ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Networking Services – DNS, DHCP, routing/switching concepts, load balancing, firewalls
  • Proficient in understanding enterprise servers, storage, HA/Failover design, Infrastructure as Code Concept, Cloud SQL, DevOps concepts, Infrastructure Automation tools and working knowledge of Linux
