The Opportunity: #LI-Remote

As a Business Operations Coordinator within the IT organization, you will join a high-performing team and work across multiple lines of business. The successful candidate will assist the Business Operations Manager and IT Leadership Team with various operational related activities including coordination with European Works Council, SOX audit facilitation, IT policy implementation and compliance, executive reporting and analysis critical to assisting the various teams within IT and the broader OpenText. The successful candidate will be able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and translate business needs into smaller sequential tasks to deliver a product/service/commitment on time to stakeholders. You will receive a best-in-class onboarding together with continuous on the job coaching and development to support your professional growth.


What You Are Great At:

  • Good understanding of business processes, ability to prioritize, organize, and accomplish multiple tasks, both as part of a team and by working independently
  • Coordinate the annual/quarterly review and renewal of IT policies and audit activities
  • Coordinate the intake of Works Council submission forms, guiding the business through process adherence and best practices, liaison with HR, IT, and business leads, coordinate all the different team inputs to ensure the forms are filled out correctly, coordinating necessary meetings and capturing action items
  • Provide reporting metrics and analysis for operational support and prepare a variety of ad hoc reporting for leadership including status reports.
  • Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives with detailed attention for process improvement and streamlining
  • Keep initiatives on track through to successful completion
  • Develop the role further as your experience grows and assume other duties as required


What it takes to excel:

  • 3-5 years of administrative experience or relevant education
  • Strong interpersonal and effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to listen and understand business requirements
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment - only constant is change
  • Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills to manage competing demands
  • Strong technical and reporting skills utilizing MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office applications
  • Goal-oriented, positive, self-starter with a strong sense of teamwork
  • Ability & desire for continuous learning and development
