The Opportunity:
The Knowledge Specialist is one member of a small, but highly visible team responsible for supporting the preparation of proposals that address significant and strategic opportunities for OpenText.
A Knowledge Specialist is responsible for the creation and ongoing maintenance of the reusable knowledge database/library which includes proposal content, boilerplate, and templates. They will be needed to use their writing and information design skills to increase the business strategy value of our intellectual property and proposal content.
You Are Great At:
Excellent writing and communications skills; you should be highly organized and have the ability to shift easily between a variety of tasks with ease.
Ability to deal with all levels of the organization as you push to get content in, and make sure deadlines are met
Team oriented and a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done; desire to work well within a fast-paced, high-energy, tight-knit team environment.
What It Takes:
One to two years in a similar role in a fast-paced, high volume proposal or technical environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills; positive attitude
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, RFPIO, one or more popular graphics applications, collaboration software, and search tools
Bachelors degree, or equivalent
