Lead Financial Analyst

The Opportunity:


The Lead Financial Analyst role reporting to the Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis within the FP&A team. They will provide support for the FP&A team, including but not limited to analytics, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The position requires a person with proven analytical and multi-tasking skills who can communicate effectively and will work closely, primarily with FP&A leaders, but also at times, with the Business Leaders, Operations, Corporate Finance, and Corporate Accounting teams.


You Are Great At:


  • Maintain and improve business functionality of key budgeting and forecasting tools for FP&A team (SAP BPC), i.e., identify key drivers for future revenues and expenses and operationalize their use within the system; actual back end systems functionality is supported by IT
  • Improve reporting capabilities of FP&A team utilizing SAP’s Analysis for Microsoft Office and other SAP BW connected tools
  • Frequent interaction with FP&A team and leaders to develop a clear understanding of planning issues and opportunities and to formulate strategies and tactics to mitigate those issues and realize opportunities
  • Assist FP&A team members with other operational activities as needed



What It Takes:


  • Proven ability to use computer software and applications, including Microsoft Office and SAP’s Analysis for Microsoft Office, for data management, research, analysis and reporting purposes. Proficiency in Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation, including pivot tables, lookups, Boolean logic expressions, macros and PowerPivots
  • Advanced skills and experience in financial modeling and statistical analysis
  • Proven ability to understand business issues and how solutions to those can be informed through modern analytical techniques applied to large data sets.
  • Experience with ERP, particularly SAP
  • Ability to establish rapport and effective working relationships with business partners, supervisors and peers. 
  • Highly motivated, and able to work both independently and as a team
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, mathematics, information technology or another related quantitative discipline. Advanced degree desirable.
  • 6+ years of experience in financial analysis or similar role with prior experience in an IT environment preferred




  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or Information Technology related discipline
