The Opportunity
The Lead Financial Analyst on the Off-Cloud Renewals' team will support budget planning and forecasting monitoring for the Off-Cloud Renewals portfolio around the world. The ideal candidate will bring to OpenText a solid understanding of business and finance, excellent analytical and communication skills. The individual will foster strong working relationships with various internal stakeholders, strive on process improvements, and manage multiple, often competing, projects and deadlines.
What you’re great at:
- Supporting enterprise level revenue-based budget planning and monitoring process through analysis, modelling, and reporting.
- Analysing operational and renewal data, providing insightful variance analysis and recommendations for effective decision making.
- Leveraging transactional and other data to identify underlying trends within the business and provide guidance to business leaders.
- Working with internal stakeholders and partners across the OpenText organisation around the world.
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance mathematics, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years relevant financial analysis and reporting experience, preferably in a global software enterprise
- Ability to present complex business analysis in a clear and concise manner and recommend solutions for possible improvements
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail
- Exceptionally strong Microsoft Excel skills; ability to write and apply SQL queries helpful, but not required
- Comfort in a technical environment... willingness to step outside your comfort zone !
