The Lead QA developer role is to develop and execute automated tests to ensure quality for the OT2 cloud audit and eventing services running in GCP and OpenText cloud. The QA developer is required to write code to test low-level APIs for backing services using the appropriate test harness. All test code is run within GITLAB pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and execute automated tests for cloud services running in GCP and opentext cloud
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to create detailed test cases
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Develop and monitor automated tests in continuous engineering and production
Requirements
- Experience with developing, deploying and running automated tests for cloud services running in Cloud Foundry and GCP.
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test cases
- Hands-on experience with white box testing
- Hands-on experience with creating automated tests using Java based test frameworks and Postman
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
- Experience with monitoring services using New Relic and/or Graylog
- Experience with IDE environments such as IntelliJ IDEA
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
