What is the role?
As a member of the Global Marketing Operations team, the Lead Revenue Operations Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Marketing function at OpenText. The incumbent will assist the team in driving programs aimed at improving processes, systems and operational performance across the responsible area while understanding global implications.
This role will provide direct support to the Manager, Revenue Operations, delivering analytics & insights to assist leaders in running the business. The role will be an essential interface to the corporate Marketing Operations function and other functions including Sales, IT, etc. A successful candidate will be a person who enjoys working with a diverse set of stakeholders, gathering and managing the requirements of the business, and working to enhance process & reporting solutions to give the most benefit to our end users.
What you will be doing:
- Interpret business critical reports across all channels and key performance indicators in collaboration with marketing and operations teams and other sales leadership stakeholders.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis of business issues through database querying to capture data, followed by relevant analysis and interpretation of results
- Maintain a deep understanding of business drivers and an innate grasp of business metrics definitions, and pro-actively interact with stakeholders to give context and help them better understand reporting data
- Compiling regular and ad hoc reports of key operational metrics
- Compiling data from variant sources and systems to create effective reports to help management optimize business resources
- Demonstrate thought leadership around sales & marketing processes & operations
- Assisting in the compilation and delivery of information that Operational leaders will use to run the business
- Assist with design, implementation and review of any initiatives required by the Marketing Ops Leader
Positions Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree of equivalent education, MBA is an asset
- Strong research, analytical/decision making and problem-solving skills
- Skilled with Excel pivot tables or Power Pivot
- Experience in gathering requirements and formulating business KPI's for reporting
- Experience with Marketing or Sales Operations, strong financial knowledge
- Direct reporting experience with SFDC is nice to have but not essential
- Strong verbal/written communication & data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with business leaders and technical teams
