The Opportunity


We are looking for passionate people that are ambitious, creative, and driven to work on difficult problems and provide innovative solutions.

In the Lead Software Engineer role, you will be one of the primary contributors to OpenText Core (, a cloud-based file sharing and collaboration service. You will work as part of a collaborative and cooperative Agile team to maintain Core and implement new features with quality. You will help shape the future of OpenText Core, solve challenging problems, and assist your teammates in getting stuff done. #INDOT


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Leading technical projects from requirements analysis through to design, implementation and deployment
  • Working closely with product owners to ensure the project is on-track and meets business requirements
  • Communicating the merits of various architectural designs and approaches while evaluating their impact on scalability, performance and long-term maintainability
  • Following good software engineering practices including code reviews, writing automated tests, documentation and following our internal coding standards
  • Solving tough problems in the areas of performance and scalability, as well as troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of customer issues and production incidents
  • Mentoring junior and intermediate developers
  • Effective team collaborator and leads the team from front.
  • Coordinates with various cross-functional teams during project execution.

What it takes:


  • 7+ years of software development experience, preferably full-stack
  • Proficiency in 2 or more of the technologies listed above with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and frameworks
  • Experience in designing REST APIs
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Good communication skills and a great team player!
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience




  • Good understanding of both relational and NoSQL databases
  • Understanding of microservices
  • Experience in performance engineering
  • Git

  • Kubernetes
  • GCP (Google Cloud Computing)
