The Opportunity:

OpenText is seeking a passionate customer-focused individual to serve as Lead Systems Analyst of Enterprise Architecture in the IT Enterprise Business Systems organization. This position will have responsibility for guiding the business application and technical architecture functions in our growing Enterprise Business Systems environment. This is a visible and key working as part of a team of technical resources across the globe. The right candidate will work closely with the Director, Enterprise Business Systems to develop & document the Data and Application architecture that will provide scalable and supportable solutions to the business as well as provide infrastructure technology leadership across the organization.   

 

The Successful Leader Will Be Responsible For:

  • Working with Enterprise Business Systems team to develop and maintain Data and Application architecture of Corporate Systems Landscape.
  • Assisting with the coordination of Infrastructure Technology initiatives for Corporate Systems landscape including: SSO, Application Monitoring, Backup & Disaster Recovery, Application Data Center Migration.
  • Key contributor to the overall technology strategy and ensuring the realization of goals such as reuse, infrastructure simplification, cost management and flexibility.
  • Strong advocate for OpenText Products in the Corporate OpenText architecture.
  • Collaborates with OpenText Engineering and Product Marking teams to understand product roadmaps and fit into OpenText Corporate landscape.
  • Build strong cross-organizational relationships and effectively collaborate with staff across the business and IT organization.
  • Responsible for the creation of the documents and diagrams that make up the structure of the Enterprise Business Architecture.

  • Delivering on time and on budget.

 

What it takes to excel:

  • Must have superior analytical skills.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills.
  • Must have good organizational, strategic planning and research skills.
  • Must have superior negotiation skills.
  • A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, College diploma or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5+ years’ experience working with IT Enterprise Systems.
  • A strong background with broad set of application technologies.
  • The ability to handle multiple streams of work effectively.
  • Ability to inspire team members.
