Lead Payment/Credit card Processing and Integration Analyst

The Opportunity: 


As a Lead IT System Analyst, you will utilize your payment processing knowledge and experience to help define and implement the strategy and direction for building integration with payment processors in an enterprise environment.  You will take a lead role in the detailed design of a transformed, resilient payment ecosystem aligned with Open Text’s emerging IT architecture and operating model.


What You Are Great At:


  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to gather and analyze requirements and design solutions to meet these requirements.
  • Define a strategy for automated processing of payments received from multiple customer portals and multiple systems generating recurring payment transactions. 
  • Define a plan for incorporating new payment platforms added from acquisitions into the Open Text’s automated payment strategy.
  • Be a key technical contributor in integrating our financial systems and customer portals with our payment platforms.
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison between internal enterprise systems and payment processors.
  • Partner across teams to understand current payment capabilities, use cases and identified areas of improvement. 
  • Provide guidance on payment processing regulations, security, and compliance issues.
  • Demonstrate industry knowledge including current trends and offerings in secure payment gateways, integrations etc.
  • Hands on technical experience integrating an ERP system (preferably SAP) through to a processing engine utilizing API and/or other technology.
  • Demonstrate an advanced working knowledge of and experience with APIs and related technology initiatives involving banks, payment platforms.
  • Knowledge and experience with the technical tools within SAP is a plus.


What it takes to excel:


  • Over 10 years of IT Industry Experience with 3-5 years’ work experience implementing payment processing technology.
  • Knowledge and experience working in the payment card industry for both B2B and retail transactions.
  • Familiarity with payment card security standards such as PCI DSS, PSD2, SCA.
  • Experience with APIs and related technology involving banks and/or payment platforms, especially Paymentech or Cybersource gateways and/or processors.
  • Experience in system design or coding and working with web service technologies (e.g HTTP, REST, SOAP, and OAuth)
  • Ability to complete detailed analysis and process mapping. 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrates pride in their work, contributes to process improvements, and is an active and engaging team player who seeks out opportunities to mentor and/or assist team members.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks within tight timeframes while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
