The Opportunity:
The IT Enterprise Business Systems team is responsible for all business systems at OpenText. We are currently seeking a Manager to lead a team of Business Systems Analysts within our IT Centre of Excellence that resides within the EBS team. This team is responsible for supporting project and enhancement requests with these IT teams as well as production support and operations in the eCommerce space.
An effective BA Manager will have excellent hands-on BA skills including strong requirements gathering and writing experience as well as a demonstrable track record of success communicating and building relationships with customers and business stakeholders of all levels. Should have recent experience working alongside with, and managing, a team of Business Analysts focusing on Sales & Marketing systems. In this role you will be accountable for supporting, planning, strategizing, developing the ongoing growth of the Centre of Excellence team within IT.

What You Are Great At:
- Being a top performing business systems analyst with knowledge in the eCommerce space.
- Have strong experience managing a global team of process knowledge and technically skilled Business Systems Analysts.
- You have expertise managing stakeholders’ requirements in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while interfacing effectively with development teams.
- The Business Analysis Manager will employ an analytical mindset, attention to detail, creative problem-solving skills, and solid people management skills. You will be highly organized, technically minded and an excellent communicator. You are comfortable in high-tech environments and can quickly learn proprietary systems. You are familiar with sales and marketing tools, partner programs, web applications, partner carts, API’s licensing, and provisioning software, and have worked with systems that have been closely integrated in the past.
- Lead and/or Partner on evaluating end-to-end process post acquisition (M&A) close to identify gaps, develop strategies to remediate and create a roadmap for integration.
- Creating a team environment of empowerment, accountability, and commitment for reaching Operational Excellence goals
- Provide user support as required for tickets, escalations, solutions.
- Collaborate with others to generate appropriate Operational Excellence deployment plan with organizational measures of success.
- Continuously working on developing staff through training initiatives
- Be a change champion within the site and network by prompting questions and promoting team-based behavior
- Involve and coach business leaders in preparing for and sustaining change
- Using applications such as Marketo, ZiftOne, Salesforce (CPQ), SAP, Assure, ITSM, Siebel, Changepoint, Open Air, ServiceNow, VIM, Win shuttle, HPALM, Web applications, eCommerce.
What it takes to excel:
The successful candidate will have the following Core Requirements:
- 3+ years of management experience
- Degree in Business, Business Analyst certified or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of Business Analysis
- Strong experience in the Sales & Marketing space
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals, including executive level stakeholders
- Ability to react to change productively and positively in a fast-paced, fluid environment
- Highly analytical and detail oriented
- Ability to work with both technology/systems groups and business units, especially in developing requirements and testing of new system and processes
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to facilitate cross-functional
- Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous situations
- Proven project management skills. Ability to develop value-based business cases along with our business partner, document detailed process flows, and define gaps
- Should be able to write detail business requirements to translate into functional design
- Evaluate current state processes and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Positive, collaborative, and solution-oriented attitude - Strong documentation skills using common Microsoft technologies (Business case, use cases, process flows, etc.)
- Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality
- Experience in production support
- A high standard for work ethic and quality is required
