The Opportunity: 

SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) Solution Lead

OpenText is looking for a candidate with strong SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) background to be part of a diverse team having responsibility for the ongoing management and expansion of their SAP suite of ERP applications. As the SAP RAR Solution Lead, your role is to provide SAP functional expertise within the Revenue Reporting process area as well as provide leadership and have solution ownership for this functional area and associated systems. The right candidate will have strong Revenue Accounting business process knowledge and will work closely with the Revenue business teams to define requirements and implement solutions to meet those requirements. In this role you will be focused on ongoing implementation, improvement, and expansion projects as well as production support and operations. 


You Are Great At: 


  • Deep understanding the SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting functionality as well as industry best practices
  • Participate in the current implementation take ownership of various deliverable by working with SI and internal SAP teams.
  • Strong communication skills with extensive experience working with business leaders
  • Communicate to process teams the technical capabilities of the solution
  • Perform requirement analysis and fit / gap analysis and produce configuration and development requirements
  • Design, configuration, and testing of solutions within the RAR module of SAP
  • Provide leadership within and cross multiple teams and own overall solution ensuring the best fit for the business needs
  • Support the integrated RAR solution across diverse landscape including SAP, Salesforce, various professional services systems, and billers.
  • Lead and coordinate various cross functional teams and focus on delivering detail designs

What It Takes: 


  • Experience building strong relationships with business teams and translating functional requirements into SAP end to end process design
  • Should have good understanding of the business processes, ability to prioritize, organize, and accomplish multiple tasks, both as part of a team and independently
  • 10 years of hand-on experience with SAP FICO
  • Extensive functional knowledge on SD and FICO integration like Accounts Receivables, General Ledger Postings, Account assignment
  • At least, 3 years of RAR configuration and BRF+ experience.
  • Minimum 2 full-cycle RAR implementation as lead or configurator.
  • Excellent ability to lead business workshops with IT and Business to achieve standard solutions.
  • Excellent understanding and hands on experience implementing solution that cover a variety of POB types, SSP, SFC, APA, and Professional Services.
  • Excellent hands-on experience configuring RAR and developing rules in BRF+
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
