Senior Treasury Analyst - Data Analysis

The Opportunity:
The Senior Treasury Analyst, reports directly to the Sr. Director, Global Treasury.  The position will be responsible for analyzing, tracking, and reporting on credit card transactions processed for OT across the globe and assisting with special projects in the Treasury group.  

 

You Are Great At:


•    Analyze, track, and report on key metrics related to accepting credit card payments from customers.  Assist the Sr. Director, Global Treasury in identifying and implementing key products and services that will generate more effective processing and maximize the success of collecting payments from customers.
•    Identify, analyze, track, and report on key metrics related to payments made to suppliers via credit card.  Insure that proper rebates are earned and paid by the bank.
•    Work with the banks to maximize utilization of the program.
•    Work with key card processors to learn and understand opportunities to improve processing.
•    Work with the various processing units within OT to help educate and implement key processes to improve success of card transactions.
•    Identify opportunities to improve revenue and reduce expenses related to credit card processing.
•    Assist with special projects in the Treasury group as they evolve.  Projects could include initiatives across the Treasury Group working closely with the Sr Director, Global Cash Management and Snr Director, Corporate Finance & Risk including topics within Cash Management, Insurance, Corporate Finance, and Risk Management.   
•    Contribute to the development of processes and best practices within treasury.

 

What It Takes:


•    Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in a large company in the Finance Department or similar area. 

•    Exposure to credit card activity is a plus
•    Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.  MBA or other graduate degrees a plus.  
•    Must have solid quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Advanced working knowledge of Excel with the ability to learn new applications quickly.  Ability to prepare and present PowerPoint presentations. 
•    Project management experience.
•    Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills and the ability to work within various group settings.
•    High degree of flexibility and creativity required; able to adapt to a continually changing environment and to develop financial procedures and processes to meet such changes.
•    Knowledge and experience with SAP is considered an asset.
