The Opportunity:


OpenText has developed regional Centers of Excellence for Account Development globally. This fast-paced, high-energy, creative team will work closely with Professional Services and their sales team to drive customer engagement and organic growth.  This role will be focused on building new business by promoting service packages and additional business solutions that will deliver pipeline and revenue growth.
As a Senior Account Development Executive, you will be joining a high-performing team where you will lead our Sales organization to the highest quality, quantity, and velocity of strategic pipeline, engaging and inspiring prospects to transform their business through optimizing their current infrastructure investment with new services, or additional functionality.
Our Account Development Representatives fuel the revenue engine for OpenText, creating new opportunities through collaborative account planning with our internal Professional Services team and engagement with C-Level and Executive stakeholders in existing and prospective customers. 
You are expected to be an expert in the OpenText offerings, and become an expert in the customers existing infrastructure in order to influence senior executives to expand their investment in the OpenText products/services. 
The successful incumbent will be a fearless communicator able to clearly and concisely deliver the OpenText value proposition to existing and potential customers, comfortable with cold calling and have an innate ability to sell services business value.
This role is ideal for individuals looking for their next challenge and a fast -track into a Sales or Professional Services career. It is an office- based role and consists of two primary responsibilities – working strategically with your assigned Professional Services field representatives to generate them leads leading to pipeline which will quickly result in quarterly revenue.

What it takes:


•    Minimum 5 years of outbound prospecting lead generation experience in a technology environment preferred
•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience
•    Exceptional verbal and written communication, including ability to influence others
•    Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills
•    Proven track -record, goal-oriented, positive, self-starter with strong analytical skills and a track record of autonomy, ownership and execution within a sales-driven and targeted environment.
•    Experience with Salesforce.com, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator & DiscoveryOrg an advantage.
