Sr. Business Process Analyst

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Director, Business Processes, the Sr. Business Process Analyst will partner across the organization to deliver on key projects and initiatives to improve and deliver on the value stream of our key processes across the order to cash continuum.  He/she will be responsible to assist in the effective development, management, and implementation of projects/initiatives related to new and/or revised processes, ensuring there is alignment with the technology functions required. You are a strong Business Partner, able to roll up your sleeves to ensure we meet the needs of our internal and external customers. You will serve as a change agent for your projects/initiatives, supporting a resilient environment as we strive for flawless execution in all we do.


You Are Great At:

  • Assist in aligning business objectives into project plans that can be achieved in the right time frame, including process redesigns, representing your business portfolio on technical requirements to ensure alignment with Order to Cash priorities and requirements on all processes with existing and new systems.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements/changes using best practice methodologies and quantifying the impact of the improvements.
  • Collaborate to develop the future state of Billing Enablement with a focus on business and process planning.  This will entail owning the project intake process to log new and track status on existing projects via an online tracker.  Frequent presentation of project status will be required for a wide-ranging stakeholder team.
  • Initiate your project pipeline to address business gaps and drive change efforts across all stakeholders with limited reliance on IT resources to support.
  • Actively seek alternate win-win process and system solutions when necessary, that meet all stakeholder needs
  • Establish and sustain effective business partner relationships with all key stakeholders on all programs, projects, and initiatives impacting your business portfolio.
  • Assist in ensuring financial and risk management requirements are achieved in the delivery of all projects and initiatives.
  • Deliver any other work that supports the Finance Operations Enablement mandate.


WHAT IT Takes: 


  • University degree/college diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 7 years project management and change management work experience
  • PMP Certified / IIBA or in progress


Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience on O2C or S2P projects related to process and people, with an understanding of technology.
  • Demonstrated hands-on knowledge of SAP, Salesforce, and a variety of billing systems.
  • Strong understanding of O2C functional delivery with business acumen capability to put a strong operational eye to requirements gathering, creating system and process test plans, and executing against them to ensure project risks are mitigated
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and present ideas, findings, and project status logically and concisely to stakeholders at all organizational levels, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
  • Self-starter and strong ability to collaborate with others across the organization
  • Team Player within and across the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to influence change to ensure your peers and stakeholders successfully use new processes
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and work on and prioritize various deliverables
  • Demonstrated ability to create a culture of learning to evolve the Finance Operations Enablement mandate
  • Demonstrate a passion for measurable results, a natural ability to generate creative solutions, and a knack to think outside the box and quickly on your feet
