The Opportunity:
This position reports to the Sr. Director of the North American Ecosystem Practice within OpenText Professional Services.  The Sr. Manager role manages, mentors, and continually develops their team of OpenText SAP delivery consultants who focus on OpenText’s Vendor Invoice Management solution (VIM), the associated Optical Character Recognition (OCR) solutions, as well as Open Text’s Data and Document Archiving solutions.  This role is also responsible for supporting OT Professional Services pre-sales support (scoping/estimating efforts for Services Statements of Work) for these solutions. 

 

You are great at:
•Being knowledgeable - both functionally and technically regarding what it takes to deliver OpenText solutions in SAP. Specifically, you are great at understanding the accounts payable processing space, as well as SAP data and document archiving for enterprises of all sizes (single country to global deployments)
•Managing people - mentoring/developing/retaining talented, project-based delivery consultants of all seniority levels based on your own experience of successfully delivering and/or managing the relevant consultants delivering the Opentext SAP-related solutions mentioned above. 
•Communicating – both orally and written 
•Estimating - Properly estimating and supporting pre-sales efforts including new VIM implementations, VIM upgrades (both technical and functional), and SAP data and document archiving.
•Being Creative and Flexible - in both sales and delivery situations by guiding your own team members as well key stakeholders (OT Project Managers, OT consultants, OT License sales, and customers), to solve customer needs and resolving project-based issues using OT solutions.

 

What it takes:
•Strong functional and technical experience and track record of having personally delivered OpenText’s SAP-focused solutions (specifically Vendor Invoice Management for Invoices and SAP Data and Document Archiving)
•Strong experience managing and developing teams of project-based, delivery SAP consultants of all skill levels from relatively junior to very senior 
•Demonstrated ability to carefully craft scope, tasks, estimates, and proper assumptions for Statements of Work for the Practice’s solutions
•Contribute to the OpenText Ecosystem’s Practice by enhancing existing related Services Packages and collaborating with others to create new ones where appropriate
