The Opportunity:
The Resource Manager is a key position within the Business Operations team and is responsible for staffing and resourcing customer-facing Services engagements as well as monitor revenue forecasts in result of the staffing. In this role, the individual will be responsible for resource tracking and allocation across consulting engagements, ensuring the right fit of consultant capabilities against customer needs, and working to ensure the organization meets its business and customer satisfaction goals through effective resourcing. The individual is also responsible for providing weekly revenue forecasts to the Regional VPs.
What you'll be doing:
• Assign resources to Professional Services engagements and ensure all projects are staffed in a timely manner, including 3rd party Consultants
• Work closely with the Regional VPs and Engagement Managers to understand project staffing needs and capabilities
• Work closely with the subcontracting partners to negotiate subcontracting rates, evaluate consultants for projects and other activities as needed
• Proactively drive resource issues or opportunities
• Analyze and report on key business metrics related to staffing and utilization.
• Support the Services Operations efforts as necessary related to resource planning.
• When called upon, provide timely feedback on internal and partner resources.
• Backup Subcontractor team for vacations and other possible duties
• Perform ad hoc projects/duties as required
• Provide subcontractor revenue and costs forecast on a weekly basis
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of monthly/quarterly results and communicate current results and forecasts to functional leaders
• Assist in identifying risks & opportunities during each quarter and work with functional leads to mitigate the risks and capitalize on the opportunities
• Collaborate with the Accounting team during the monthly, quarterly and year end close process
• Strong Excel Analysis preferred
• Must be a strong team player and be able to work independently
You are great at:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or another related quantitative discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or similar role
• Ability to analyze and interpret data and to identify relevant issues in solving business problems.
• Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships with business partners, supervisors and peers.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience in financial modeling
• Demonstrated ability to present ideas logically and concisely to diverse audiences at all organizational levels, both verbally and in writing.
• Proven ability to use computer software and applications, including Microsoft Office and business analysis tools for data management, research, analysis and reporting purposes.
