The Opportunity:
We are looking for a full-stack software developer to join our Core Signature team at OpenText. Core Signature is a professional and enterprise-grade electronic signature application that allows employees and third parties to sign documents in a fast, compliant and hassle-free way.
In the Senior Software Developer role, you will be one of the primary contributors to this service. You’ll be responsible for not just writing the code, but maintaining and owning the service end to end. It’s a chance to work with cutting-edge technologies (Django, Docker, Node.js, Vue.js) on an exciting new product.
From design, to coding, to testing, and assisting with customer support issues, you will have a huge impact on quality and customer satisfaction.
You have:
- At least 3 years of experience developing quality, in-market, production web applications at scale
- Experience with Python, Django, as well as Vue.js and AngularJS frameworks
- Experience with various Cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
- Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs
- Strong ability to communicate complex concepts in a virtual or in person office setting
- Understanding of fundamental web security best practices
You can:
- Write code that is well designed and maintainable
- Mentor new and entry level developers by providing technical guidance
- Take part in design discussions, support and mentor developers to come up with solutions to new features
- Collaborate in a team environment, complete peer code reviews, and maintain code using git
- Write comprehensive unit tests and run automated testing
