OpenText’s Waterloo office is a vibrant hub for innovation, housing approximately 1,200 employees across nine floors in two buildings. Founded in Waterloo in 1991, OpenText established its headquarters in 2005, expanding with Building 2 in 2011. The OpenText Richmond Hill office occupies the entire building, spanning four floors with nearly 600 employees. Acquired in 2002 through the Centrinity acquisition, it has since become a key location for OpenText. The office is ideally situated at the intersection of Hwy 404 and 16th Avenue, just one block north of Hwy 407, offering excellent access by both road and public transportation. For added convenience, we also have a bus service that connects the Richmond Hill office with the Waterloo office on a regular schedule—Tuesdays and Thursdays from Richmond Hill to Waterloo, and Wednesdays from Waterloo to Richmond Hill, with stops at Trafalgar Road. It’s a great way to connect with colleagues and visit the head office!
